Dear Professor Laufer,

In May 2007, our special friend David Linton referred me to you RE A recurrent pelvic inflammatory disease I had and you performed laparoscopic surgery on me.

My husband Andrea and myself take great pride in introducing you to our first born son Mario, he was born on the 22nd August 2008, weighing a healthy 2,965Kg with a height of 51cm.

We are completely in love with him; he is our little miracle for which we have you to thank. You have been in our thoughts many times and we look forward to the opportunity to meet with you again (not for medical reasons!!) and we send you our very best regards,

Andrea, Ellie and little Mario P.
