Managing of complicated logistic case.

This thank you note arrived to the iMER marketing division from a Nigerian couple. They discovered the services that the company provides through American friends who advised them to contact Michael Von Springer, a veteran iMER case manager who helped them find a medical expert to offer a second opinion and if need be, treatment.

The logistics related to their visit at Hadassah were a genuine challenge and required Michael’s experience to coordinate the sophisticated testing needed to prepare them for a consultation with E.N.T. specialist and director of the department, Professor Ron Eliashar.The following letter clearly reflects the results of their visit to Hadassah.

“My husband and I have now returned to West Africa. We wanted to thank you for the excellent logistical care we received from you as we arranged for my appointment at “Hadassah” Hospital. I especially appreciated how you were willing to wait until we arrived in Israel to receive everything from me you needed in advance of my appointment, since our mail and Internet are unreliable here.

I also appreciated that you answered my calls to you after working hours discussing how to get a follow-up MRI done. Thanks very much for helping expedite our medical care through the huge Hadassah Hospital system.

Patients’ Stories

At the end of November 2011 we received a letter with a unique request. The iMER company was approached by the Oberig medical center in Kiev to help with a patient who was stricken with a difficult neurological disease. His illness prevented him from swallowing and interfered with his speech, his life depended on an intravenous line that administered his medication. The alternative to this awkward arrangement would be to insert a pump to provide him with his medication in place of the intravenous line.
