Collection and use of Information
In order for you to access certain materials or pages, to receive services from iMER, or to register as a user on this Site, this Site may require that you provide certain personal information, including but not limited to your name, phone number and e-mail address and information about your health, medical condition and previous treatments and diagnosis. We use this information in order to contact you to provide you with further information about our services, as well as for other commercial and/or internal purposes such as market research in order to better understand the demographics of our Site visitors and potential customers and partners. We may share this information with our authorized partners and/or with third parties who act for or on behalf of us, but we do not otherwise provide any information gathered on this Site to third parties.
Disclosure of your private information
Under the following circumstances, iMER may disclose your personal information: (i) Should your access to certain areas of the Site have been authorized by a iMER client or other person, iMER may make your personal information available to that authorizing person. However, iMER has no power over authorizing persons’ use of your private information which is not necessarily subject to this Policy. Should you not wish your personal information to be disclosed to the person who has authorized your use of the Site, you may not make use of the Site. (ii) iMER may make your personal information available to its affiliates, suppliers, partners, service providers and third parties for use in connection with matters relating to your use of the Site and the services you require from iMER. However, iMER has no control over these third parties’ use of your personal information which is not necessarily subject to this Policy. Should you not wish your personal information to be disclosed to certain or any third parties, you may not use the Site (iii) iMER may be involved in the sale or transfer of some or all of its business. As part of that sale or transfer, iMER may disclose your personal information to the acquiring party provided that such acquiring party will assume an obligation to protect the privacy of your personal information in a manner that meets this Policy. However, If you do not wish iMER to disclose your personal information as part of the sale or transfer of some or all of its business, you may not use the Site (iv) iMER may disclose your personal information to a government institution that has asserted its lawful authority to obtain the information or where iMER has reasonable grounds to believe the information could be useful in the investigation of unlawful activity, or to conform to a subpoena or warrant or an order made by a court, person or body with jurisdiction to compel the production of information, or to comply with court rules regarding the production of records and information, or to their legal counsel. Termination of use of the Site shall not prevent iMER from continuing to use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this Policy as amended from time to time.
This Site implements a user tracking feature, whereby the activities of each unique visitor to the Site are monitored. This is done regardless of whether the visitor has registered on the Site or is visiting the Site anonymously, but if you do not register on this Site or fill in your personal details on any forms, you do remain anonymous and we do not discover your identity. If you do register on this Site, our use of user tracking enables us to identify your future and prior activity on the Site, including your activity before you registered. This includes the pages on our Site that you visited. If you get in touch with iMER or otherwise specify that you would like to receive email from iMER, then iMER may, from time to time, forward on to you emails or other communications containing information about iMER and other matters (including third party products or services) it believes may be of interest to you. In order to assist protecting the confidentiality of your personal information, iMER applies security safe guards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
