Dr Ioannis Kyprianou, MD, MBChB (Honours), MRCOphth, FRCSEd (Ophth), CCST (UK), Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon, Specialist in Lids, Lacrimals and Orbits, Nicosia Polyclinic

Dr Ioannis Kyprianou was born in Cyprus and qualified from the University of Birmingham, UK in 2000, with Honours degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery MBChB(Hons). He was awarded various prizes and honours for excelling during the undergraduate course.

He trained in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery and received his Higher Specialist Training at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre leading to the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

His postgraduate qualifications include Member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of London and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh FRCSEd (Ophth). He spent three more years subspecialising in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery in Birmingham, Leicester and the world renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
