Bridges for CHILD conference - November 2011In November 2011 in Viena (Austria) took place the first conference “Bridges for CHILD”.

It’s key topics were:

  • Raising awareness for affected children in different regions of Europe.
  • Facilitating transfer of best practices in pediatric care.
  • Pinpointing the existing health inequalities.
  • Enhancing networking and scientific exchange between the different stakeholders.
  • Establishing a cross-border healthcare network.

Among participants from the diffrent countries of Western and East Europe in the work of conference took part the representatives of iMER.

Patients’ Stories

This year’s holiday post brought New Years greetings from Rostov in Russian. A beautiful card and an original poem written by a grateful mom was sent to us by a family who chose to come to the Mother and Child unit at the “Hadassah” University Hospital in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem.
